Quick answer: Every quote sets out the scope, price and timeline in writing, and the quote is the price. It comes with a secure payment link, and anything new you ask for later is quoted separately before we do it.
What a quote includes
- Scope: exactly what we will deliver, and what is not included
- Price: once-off amounts and any monthly or yearly costs, listed separately
- Third-party fees: such as government filing fees, shown as separate lines
- Timeline: the expected start and delivery dates
- Validity: how long the price holds
The quote is the price
We don't add line items you didn't approve. If, halfway through, you ask for something that wasn't in the scope, such as extra pages or a new feature, we send a short separate quote first. You decide whether to add it now, later or not at all.
How long a quote is valid
The validity period is shown on the quote, usually 14 days. After it expires, the payment link stops working and we send an updated quote if anything has changed. Third-party costs, such as government filing fees, can change over time, which is why quotes don't last indefinitely.
Secure payment links
Each quote has its own long, random payment link. It shows the line items and total from our records, so the amount can't be altered, and once paid it can't be paid again. If you didn't receive yours, ask us to resend it rather than paying a figure you're unsure of.
Invoices and receipts
Online payments are confirmed with a Paystack receipt by email. Tax invoices are emailed with a reference number. Keep them for your bookkeeping.
