How much does a website cost?
With Digitalx, a starter website is from R3,990, Website Business Plus at R6,990 and an online store from R12,990. Hosting starts at R150 a month and a .co.za domain R99 for the first year (R250 a year to renew).
How long does it take?
Usually 1 to 2 weeks for a starter site, 2 to 4 for a business site and 3 to 6 for an online store, depending mostly on how quickly content is ready.
Do I own my website and domain?
Yes. The domain is registered in your name, and once all payments for the development have been made the website is yours.
Can you write the content?
Yes. Send us bullet points or rough notes and we shape them into clear website text. Supplying real photos of your work makes the biggest difference.
Will my website appear on Google?
We set up the technical foundations and submit your sitemap to Google. Rankings depend on competition, content and time, so nobody can honestly guarantee a position.
Can I update the website myself?
On a monthly hosting package we make small changes for you. If you want to edit it yourself, ask for that in your brief so we build it that way.
Do I get business email?
Yes. Starter websites include SSL and business email addresses such as you@yourbusiness.co.za.
Can you move or redesign my existing website?
Yes. We plan the move so your site and email keep working, and redirect old page addresses so you keep your search traffic.
Do I need a registered company first?
No. You can have a website as a sole proprietor. If you want to register a company, we can do both together.
